McCall

Jeremy's parents have a time share membership and were about to lose a number of points.  They offered for us to use them and we thought it would be nice to use them with my parents for having them watch our boys.  We flew back home on the Thursday, and went to McCall on Friday and stayed through Sunday.
The boys were so happy to be out of the car.  April is in the middle of seasons in McCall, which was kind of nice.  It was still too cold for the boys to golf, but we had a great time showing my parents around.

There was a great walking path just down from the condo.  We went on a walk which went by the golf course.
Corbin wanted to show off for Grandma and ride through the puddles.
My parents had taught us a card game just before we left for Vegas.  We played almost every day.
Every trip to McCall has to have a picture of the lake.
And one with the grandparents.
This was down on the dock.
Corbin requested this picture in front of the lake.
Corbin took the picture above.  I think it looks pretty good.  He is always wanting to take pictures.

While walking around, we saw this piece of art, which Corbin loved.
The condo had a pool and hot tub, which the boys loved.  Hudson was way too brave.
The pool was pretty cold, so most time was spent in the hot tub.
The boys were great on the ride to and from.  We had a great time showing them McCall.

With the number of trips in April, it seemed like anytime we were home, we had just enough time to unpack and pack for the next trip.

Las Vegas

At the same time Jeremy's parents were heading to Wyoming, we went to Las Vegas.  Jeremy was sent by the bank to a banking software client conference.  My parents volunteered to come up and watch our boys, so I went with him.  We stayed at the Pallazzo, which was awesome.
I bought discount tickets to Benihana and to Mystere (Cirque du Soleil).
The conference ended on a Wednesday, and we stayed one extra day.  Here we are at the Canal Shoppes.
This was the first time I had been away from both boys.
We had such a great time, and the boys enjoyed themselves as well.
Thanks Mom and Dad!!!

Grandpa and Grandma's Misson

In April, Jeremy's parents left on a six month mission to Martin's Cove in Wyoming.  After they spoke in church, we had lunch at their house with all the family that was there.  Before they left, they invited us over for dinner. After dinner, they decided to dress up in their pioneer attire and share a story they had been assigned to memorize.
Corbin didn't want them to be alone in the pictures.
We are proud of them for setting such a great example to us and our kids.  We will definitely miss them over the six months.

Corbin's Friend Party

This year was the first year for Corbin to have a friend party for his birthday.  It was a bit hectic as the party was an hour after his soccer ended, but everyone seemed to enjoy it.  We started the party with some pizza.

Then it was time to line up and start some games.  With a Cars theme, we had to have Red Light, Green Light.
Then came Duck, Duck, Goose...
Corbin said he wanted a Funfetti cake, so I made one and put a Cars racetrack on it.
Corbin seemed happy with it.
After the cake, came time for the pinata...
And the ensuing scramble for candy.
He was definitely spoiled when it came to presents.
Here is the whole group...
Corbin said that he wanted to have a party like that every year.  I don't think my nerves could handle that...

Soccer

This year was Corbin's first year to play soccer.  When Jeremy went to sign him up, he was told that the team needed a coach, so Jeremy agreed.
The team decided to call themselves the Rockstars.
Here he is after scoring a goal.  I thought the falling opponent adds dramatic effect.
I had to have the team picture.
Corbin enjoyed soccer and is excited to play again next spring.  Jeremy said that even though there were tears, he enjoyed being a part of it as well.

Happy 4th Birthday Corbin

Corbin's birthday was on a Tuesday and Jeremy had to work.  He was so excited that I decided to let him open a present to hold him over until Jeremy got home.

We had his four year check-up in May and here were the stats:
Height 3 feet 8 inches 99%
Weight 41 lbs 80 %
Jeremy met us at Corbin's swimming lessons, and Corbin was able to pick where he wanted to go for his birthday dinner.
He picked Texas Roadhouse.  This is his favorite place to eat.  He loved the attention given to him and the fact that they had him get up on the saddle.
After dinner, we went home and he was able to open some more presents.

He was so happy with all of his gifts.
We sure love Corbin.   I am not sure I am loving his vocabulary when it comes to talking back and being sassy, but I guess that just comes with age.  He is always wanting to make some kind of deal with us.  He is so smart and remembers everything, (which is not always a good thing).  He makes friends really easy and has never met a stranger.   He loves Preschool and his teachers say he is a joy to have.
I asked him some questions and wanted to keep them for future reference.

2.  What is your favorite toy? - Big remote control Jeep from Grandma Patti and Grandpa Larry
3.  What is your favorite fruit? - Apples

Falls

In all of our travels back and forth to Utah, we have never stopped to see the falls at Twin Falls.  I asked Jeremy, and he had never seen them, but saw them on the internet when the water is high.  We decided that we would stop on the way back from Easter.
When we got off the freeway, Corbin could hardly contain himself.  He was so excited to see the falls.

Once again, I will state that we do not beat Hudson.  With a head that big, he was top heavy and had a large area to get bruises.
I timed it and it took 35 minutes out of our trip to stop.   The boys were definitely pleased to get out of the car for a minute.  I usually push for only one stop when we come and go, this one wasn't a bad one.

Corbin's Family Party!

Corbin's birthday was so close to Easter Sunday, that we celebrated his birthday when we got together for Easter.  Jeremy took him to Costco to pick out his cake.  Corbin had to have the dinosaur.
I can't believe that his cake has a 4 on it...
Then came the time for the presents...  He was completely spoiled by my family.
He still loves Cars and was so excited to get these cars.
Some of the kids got race tracks from my parents for Christmas, and Corbin had been asking for one.  You can see his reaction when opening this...
He even got a Hot Wheels jump for the bathtub.
Nerf is always a great gift. When the gun is all together, it is taller than he is.
