Park City

We went to Park City for a little getaway for Memorial Day Weekend with my brother Brandon, Jeanette, and their girls Brynnley and Brooklyn. We were both amazed at how much stuff it takes to take one more person on a trip. What was once a 15 minute packing adventure, turned into a two hour fiasco.

We had a lot of fun shopping, swimming with the girls, riding the Alpine Slide and Alpine Coaster, walking around, relaxing, and just being away. This was our first time being away from home overnight with Corbin.

We were also spoiled by Brandon and Jeanette, who volunteered to watch Corbin while we had our own dinner-date. This was the first time leaving Corbin.

I felt really bad because the girls both had colds and were told that they couldn't touch Corbin so they wouldn't get him sick. I could tell that it was killing them to not be able to touch or hold him.

Which Parent Does He Look Like???

It is so interesting to hear all of the traits that people think are either from my family or Jeremy's. I thought that we should look through some baby pictures to see who he really looks like.

Here is a picture of me being held by Nick and Brandon...

Here is a picture of Jeremy...

Getting So Big

Corbin will be six weeks on Thursday and is getting so big. He even sleeps in his own bedroom now. I made the mistake of telling Jeremy that he took a nap in his crib, and Jeremy decided that meant that he could sleep in his own bed now. I have to admit that it is easier to sleep now not hearing every grunt, groan, or movement

One day while feeding him, I had the remote in my lap. I set him down to get ready to burp him and caught him holding the remote. I yelled for Jeremy and we got a picture to prove just how much he loves his remote. Who needs a teddy bear?

1 Month Pictures

We had Corbin's one month pictures taken. He was so good, other than he slept through the whole thing. We changed his clothes, which always wakes him up, but he just kept sleeping. While waiting for the pictures to print, Corbin decided that he was ready to be awake... Ten minutes after finishing the pictures.
