My Birthday

As much as I try to avoid them, birthdays come and go.  Luckily, I was spoiled on my last birthday.
Jeremy took the boys a few days before my birthday and they helped buy a bunch of things for me...
On the day of, they were more than happy to help me unwrap them...
Jeremy arranged for us to have a date night as well, which was very nice.
I have to say that I am quite spoiled by my boys...

Natalie's Family Comes to Visit

Natalie and the family came up to visit President's Day weekend.  It was so nice.  Alex and Brayden watched the boys one night so the adults could go out.  Corbin and Hudson love the attention from their cousins.
Anytime we get together, we play board games.  Natalie had a new one we had to try out.
Alex was so good to take Corbin on the go carts.  Especially with how cold it was that night.

Alex helped Corbin at a motorcycle game.
There was a Spiderman ride Corbin wanted to go on.  He tried to have Hudson ride with him, but Hudson wasn't having it...
Hudson just chilled in the stroller as the kids played...
You have to do the sister pose...
We are a very social family.  As you can see, we spent all of our time talking and socializing together...
It took some serious posing to get everyone in that picture.  We had such a great time and always do.  Can't wait until next time...

Random February Pics

My Cute Boys Taking a Bath.  These two love taking baths together.  Poor Hudson is a little top heavy so this kid always has a bruise on his head, people probably think we beat him(but we don't).
 What Cute boys!
At Corbin's preschool they are given prizes for different things, and here are 2 of his lizards.  He really wanted me to take of picture of these.  I think he has one in about every color.  Don't mind that he kind of looks like a nerd with his sweater zipped all the way to the top.  This is the way he wants it  and you can't tell him any different.
This Is a wreath that my mom bought for us when she was her, because Corb really thought we need it.  Let me just tell this kid can talk his Grandma Patti any to anything.  (He wanted this picture taken as well.)  Corbin is so in to Holidays, he is a child after my own heart.  I am so glad he loves them like I do because it makes it so much fun.
Here is Hudson sitting in one of his favorite spots.   He really thinks he is so big, but makes me so nervous.

Valentines Day

We had a great Valentine's Day this year.  I had a doctor appointment, so Jeremy stayed with the boys.  Once I got back we started a scavenger hunt.
Corbin was so excited to get the clues and prizes at each stop of the scavenger hunt.  Below is a picture of him with everything.  One of the prizes was a gift card to Build A Bear, which we went to later in the day.
The boys looked so cute in their red for Valentine's day...

This is the bear Corbin picked.  His name is McQueen...

I was spoiled by my boys as well...  They got me flowers, chocolate covered strawberrys, and a gift card from my scavenger hunt...

Sticker Charts

After spending so much time with family in December, Corbin was having a hard time going to bed and staying in bed.  There was always an excuse.  Finally I started a sticker chart for him for staying in bed.  We gave him the choice of what he could earn and he said that he wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese when he completed the chart.  It took a long time, but he did it while my parents were here.
I think he enjoyed the fact that it was just him and us as much as it being Chuck E Cheese.
We didn't stay long or make it a big thing.  In fact, we were back home within two hours, but he enjoyed it.
I know some people think that bribery isn't good, but this actually worked out well and got him back in the habit of going to bed and staying in bed.

Grandpa & Grandma Come

My parents came to visit at the end of January, which was a very nice break.  It seemed like one of the boys was sick constantly throughout January.
The boys absolutely love to have Grandma and Grandpa come.  It gives me some more adults to talk to and shop with. Dad was so good to watch the boys a time or two when Mom and I went shopping.

Corbin loves to have stories read to him.  It makes it even better when Jeremy and I aren't the ones reading to him.
After a few weeks of feeling cooped up in our house for the winter, it was a great relief to have them come and visit for a while.
