January

During the month of January, Corbin was able to have tons of time with Grandma and Grandpa Huntsman.

My parents were a great help to us in the transition from being a parent of one boy to two boys...
Hudson didn't miss out in the attention department either.  He was able to spend some bonding time with my parents as well.
We couldn't have my parents go back to Utah without getting a picture taken with both of them and both boys.
As you can see, pictures are very serious business for Corbin.

The downside to all of the attention is that Corbin was worn out quite frequently.  About a week before my parents went back to Utah, we spent the day playing and ended the day at the Cheesecake Factory.  We looked down and this is what we saw.

Family of Four

Since Hudson was in the NICU, we were unable to get a picture with all of us after he was born.  So here is the first picture of all of us, almost a month later.  We had my parents hurry and take a few after church one day.
These are not the best pictures but they will do.

Hudson's 2 Week Pictures

We had some pictures taken of Hudson and a few with Corbin too.  We were so lucky to find that our neighbor just around the corner is a photographer.  This is one of those annoyingly long posts of just pictures, but we thing they are pretty cute...  Enjoy!!!

Bowling

We wanted to do something fun with my parents and Corbin and decided that we could try bowling.
Corbin was so excited when he was given his own ball to use.
Corbin really enjoyed bowling with Grandma Patti and Grandpa Larry.  After each turn he would come back and snuggle up with one of them.
Notice the great form that Jeremy is using to teach Corbin how to bowl.  Even at six pounds, the ball was much to heavy for Corbin.  He would push it and Jeremy would help it get down the lane.
As soon as the ball was headed down, Corbin would come running back as if he won...

As any two-year old would, Corbin was quickly distracted and became interested with the blower on the ball return.
Corbin loved bowling and has asked to bowl multiple times since.  When we drive by, he reminds us that he went to that bowling alley...

Corb's Third Christmas

Corbin was able to have one Christmas with Jeremy's family (Kristin's family and Jeremy's parents) while I was in the hospital.  He got another Christmas when I got out.  The third Christmas came when my dad came up from Utah with more gifts...
There was no holding Corbin back when he saw the presents that my dad brought in.

It was interesting to see Corbin's progression from mild mannered when opening presents, to what we saw this last time around....

After he had gone through all the presents, he had to have some snuggle time with Grandpa Larry and Jeremy.

Corbin was so excited to have Grandpa Larry around for a while...

Hudsons First Home Bath

We wanted to make sure to remember Hudson's first bath at home.  Corbin never really liked the bath, so we were a little worried about Hudson, but he loved it.
Hudson did not like being naked and cold, but once he was in the warm water, he just completely relaxed.
We were surprised to find that he didn't even mind when we had to scrub his head.  He just sat there relaxed in the tub...
So content after his bath.

Hudson Coming Home - Eight Year Anniversary

We were so happy to be able to bring Hudson home on the second of January.  It is kind of fitting: we got to hold him for the first time on Christmas Day, and he came home on our eight year anniversary.

Hudson was so cute in his car seat.
He was completely asleep and slept the whole way home.
When we got Hudson home, Corbin got to see him and actually touch his feet for the first time.  He saw how Jeremy would wrap Hudson up in a blanket and wanted to be wrapped up too.
He then wanted his picture taken and faked being asleep for the photos.

I can't believe that we have been together for eight years.
And now we have two wonderful boys to go along with those eight years.

This is the last picture that I could find of just us together.
We didn't just bring Hudson home and then go out to celebrate our anniversary, but we were able to go out a couple of weeks later while my parents watched the boys...
