St. George

We went to St. George to spend an extened weekend of the 24th. We were a little worried how Corbin would handle his first roadtrip, but he did great. I really hate the drive down there but once we get there I always enjoy it. It was so nice to just be able to get away. We were able to do some shopping, golfing, watched fireworks, and Corbin had his first trip to the pool. At first he was not quite sure about the cold water but once he adjusted he really loved it.

3 Months Old

We went and had Corbin's 3 month pictures taken they turned out pretty cute I think. The guy taking the pictures kind of struggled but oh well. While taking them, Corbin decided he was tired and needed to take a nap right in the middle, but then woke up to take a few more.

I can't believe how big he is getting. He is a very busy kid and loves to look at everything which makes it really hard for him to focus on eating. He loves to suck on his hands, arms, or anything he can get his hands on. He also loves to try to talk and make noises. Jeremy is a little worried that once he starts to talk he is never going to stop... Just like his mom.

Corbin's Blessing

Sunday, July 6 was Corbin's blessing. Jeremy gave Corbin an excellent blessing. We had a lot of family attend both from Jeremy's side and mine. After church we had dinner outside at our house. Jeremy, Burdette, and Larry set up canopies, tables, and chairs for everyone. We were afraid that the weather wouldn't cooperate, but it was quite nice. It was so nice to have so much of our family there to support us. Thank you to everyone that came...

July 4

Needless to say, it has been a crazy week. Friday was the Fourth of July, Saturday was the baptism of our nephew Brayden, and Sunday was Corbin's blessing. We will make sure to have the information about the blessing in a later post.

We spent the evening of the Fourth at Natalie's. Tara made Pizzas for everyone there. They were great... We later lit and then watched the fireworks. Memphis wasn't too keen on the noise of the fireworks. Corbin didn't like the noise of the bottle-rockets either. He went from smiling on Larry's lap to having his bottom lip stuck out so far in a split second. Later, from a distance, Corbin enjoyed watching the PG fireworks show from the comfort of his Dad's arms. All in all, a good holiday...
