Jumper

We got out the little play jumper a little while ago.  At first Hudson was not too sure, but now he loves it.

Fun at the Playground

We love to take advantage of evenings and go for a walk.  Corbin always wants to go for a walk to the playground.
This was the first time that we had Hudson try the swings.
There was a lot of room for Hudson to wiggle around, but he really liked it.
Corbin loves to swing.  We tried to get him to pump with his legs, but he still needs to work on that.

I had to get a picture of my boys on the slide.

Corbin wanted to show how strong he was on the monkey bars.

6 Months Old

I can't believe that it has already been six months.  Hudson is getting so big...  Not that he was ever small.
We had Hudson's six-month checkup on 7/11 and here is his information:

Weight : 19 lbs 12 oz (90th percentile)
Height: 29 in (Off the Charts)
Head: Large (just look at his father's)
Hudson is such a happy baby.
He absolutely loves his baths.
He thinks his brother is the funniest thing.
He will make himself laugh.
He is a great sleeper.
Loves to roll all over the place (unless he is tired, when he gets stuck on his belly)
Still loves veggies.
Said "Dada" before "Mom."
He does take a while to warm up to people he hasn't seen in a while.

Happy Fathers Day

The day before we went back home, we all met at Natalie's to celebrate Father's Day and birthdays.  I was horrible and didn't get any pictures of Jeremy with our boys on Father's Day.  I didn't even bring my camera to Natalie's.  These were taken with Jeremy's phone, so they are a little grainy.
All of the boys were in one area, so we took advantage of taking pictures of the men for Father's Day.
I am so lucky to have such a great husband, and the boys have a great dad.

Strawberry Day Parade

We always go to the Strawberry Days Parade on Saturday.  Here is everyone at the parade.
The kids love the parade because of the candy and other things that are given out.
Hudson chilled through the parade in the stroller we borrowed from Brandon and Jeanette.

Who are those masked crusaders?  Corbin and Brynn...

Hanging out

While we were in Utah we saw a lot of family and friends, which is always nice.  Corbin just loved playing with everyone.  It took Hudson a little while to warm to everyone, but then he was fine.  He is just not quite as social as Corbin was as a baby.  We also were able to do some shopping, which I always love, and  Jeremy was able to go golfing with my brothers and dad.
We spent an afternoon at Casey's.  Corbin had a ball with Casey and the Girls.
Hudson enjoyed all the attention Alex gave him.

Don't forget attention from Grandpa and Grandma...

Strawberry Days Carnival

It has become a tradition in my family to go to the Carnival during Strawberry Days.  We kept up that tradition this year while we were there visiting.  Since Jeremy doesn't do to many rides, I got to go with Corbin, Brynnley, and Brayden on this one.
Jeremy and Brandon would alternate standing in line for the kid rides while the other took the boys on another ride.  The boys had a ball...
Corbin is always up for the Merry-Go-Round.
Jeremy and Brandon's technique worked out great and the kids got to ride on almost every ride.
The other part of the tradition is dinner that night at Taco Amigo afterward. That is a must for me...  You don't get what I mean unless you grew up in Pleasant Grove.  Jeremy sure doesn't.

Lagoon

We went to Utah in June to visit family.  While there, we all spent a day at Lagoon.  I was so excited to see which rides Corbin could ride on.  Here are the kids waiting to ride Tidal Wave.
Hudson was such a trooper.  He loved hanging out in his stroller.  We picked a day that was perfect for the park.
Corbin is definitely my child.  He wanted to go on every ride.  Jeremy got to take him on the kid's version of the big drop.
I was amazed at how well all of the kids behaved, even without naps.  Here was when we all piled onto the train that takes you around Lagoon by the animals.
Here we are on the Tidal Wave.  You can see that I was trying to calm Corbin and Natalie is trying to calm Brooklyn.  He was a little nervous at first, but did great after that.  Once the ride was over, he wanted to go again.
Ryder wasn't quite big enough to go on all of the same rides as Corbin, but they went on all of the rides Ryder could go on together.
Sophie joined them on some of those rides.
Brooklyn was so good to play with Hudson whenever she wasn't on the ride.

We had quite the day with the family.  The boys were so worn out that they didn't even make it to dinner.  They were out before we could get the food at Carl's Jr. down the road.

First Time Swimming

We finally had some warm weather and decided to go swimming for the first time this year.  Corbin had taken some basic swimming lessons, but this was the first time taking Hudson.
We had to document the swimming with the boys in their swimming suits. You can see that Corbin was a little excited to go.
We were a little worried that Hudson wouldn't like the water unless it was warm, but Hudson loved the water.  The only thing he didn't like was the sun in his eyes.

Corbin isn't able to tread water for too long yet, so we still have him wear a life jacket.  He has absolutely no fear though.  He will jump in after anything...

Hopefully some more lessons will help him become even more comfortable in the water.
