Part 3: BBQ

The last day of the reunion, we took the kids to a movie and then all went back to our house for a BBQ.
It was really cool to see almost all of the cousins together playing.
One of the benefits of having the reunion local was that Grandma Pratt was able to come.  We don't see her nearly enough.

We were going to go swimming, but storm clouds rolled in and stopped that.  Luckily the girls were able to escape for a minute of shopping while the boys watched the kids. It is rare that we get even that many of us all together, so it was a great time to catch up.

Part 2: Parma Pizza

After we finished up at the pond, we went to Parma Pizza.(not sure if that is really the name)  The food was great and we enjoyed talking.  Everyone was really tired and worn out if you can't tell.

What a great way to end the day.
Hudson was such a trooper.

Pratt Family Reunion Part 1

This year for the Pratt Family Reunion, we had a "staycation" for those of us here, and the rest had to travel to us.  The first night, the adults got together for dinner at Texas Roadhouse and Coldstone.  The next day, some of the boys went golfing and then the family went to Christensen's Pond.  Everyone was there except for Casey and Stacy's family.

Corbin loved the water slide
Hudson enjoyed the water too...
Corbin had no fear to jump off the diving board into the water.

Jeremy taking Corbin on the zip line.

Everyone was trying to teach Marlon how to dive, and Jeremy decided to start showing off with back flips.
The road to get to the pond had a lot of hills and gullies.  Corbin loved it and said it was like a rollercoaster.  Here he is enjoying the ride...
Christensen's pond was great!  It had something for everyone: canoes, zip line, diving board, slides, docks, and a sandy beach.  The very best was watching Burdette try the zip line and drop like a rock.  I wish I had been video taping that or at least had my camera ready.

7 Months Old

Hudson is getting so big.  I can't believe it has already been seven months.  We have been very lucky so far when it comes to our babys.  He is so good.
  • Still not a huge people person but is getting better.
  • Drooling all of the time.
  • Loves his baths.
  • Great sleeper
  • Loves all veggies and fruit
  • Rolls all over the place
  • Sits up (not the greatest for long periods)
  • Can drink out of a sippy and a straw
  • Laughs and smiles all of the time
  • Loves his brother
  • Can say Mama and Dada
We sure can't imagine our life with out this little guy.  (He really isn't so little)

Stampede Parade

Jeremy Uncle Dean invited us to go and be on his wagon in the Stampede Parade.  This is a horse only parade.  Corbin and I were able to go last year and he loved it.
We were lucky because both boys were great.  Hudson even fell slept through most of it.

New Pictures

Get ready for some picture overload...  One of Jeremy's coworkers used to have a photography business and offered to take pictures of the boys.  We thought it would be nice to have 3-year pictures of Corbin and 6-month pictures of Hudson...  We think they are pretty cute, but we are biased.

Apples

Hudson is quite the eater.  He thinks he needs food whenever we are eating, so Corbin decided to give him a slice of a apple.  He loved it.

Trouble

This is what happens when you get side tracked talking to a neighbor while feeding your child.
He was just loving it and was as happy as could be.

4th of July Weekend

We had a great 4th of July weekend even though we didn't go anywhere.  We started out the weekend with Corbin taking a friend to the pool for some swimming.
On the actual 4th, we had family over for a BBQ, some more swimming and fireworks.
Erin's kids are so good with Corbin and Hudson.  Easton was so happy to be holding Hudson.
We had to have some pictures with the boys in their 4th shirts from Grandma Patti.
They were working it for the camera...
 Check out the color coordination...
There was plenty of rough-housing in the pool.
 Grandma Kathy chilled with Hudson.
That night, we went to a parking lot of a church to watch the fireworks show from the Speedway.

After the fireworks, we broke out the sparklers for the kids to use.  They had a ball...
