We didn't even have a chance to open presents Christmas morning before going to my parents' house. After getting back from my parents' house, we put Corbin down for a nap, but that didn't last long. I think he could sense Jeremy's excitement. My parents came over and helped Corbin open his presents. We may have gone a little overboard on the presents for Corbin. I think he would have been completely content with a roll of wrapping paper. It was great to celebrate Corbin's first Christmas and it makes us excited for even more.
The best part was just being able to spend the time together and with family.

A Huntsman Christmas
We showed up at my parents' house around Nine in the morning. Christmas is always a special treat at my parents' house. My mom makes breakfast for everyone which we ate before going down stairs. Before the barrage of gift opening, we were given special Christmas hats and had to have a photo opportunity.
As usual, Mom and Dad spoiled everyone. Everyone got way more than they need or deserve. We were also spoiled by the "Secret" gift from Dad. We love the photo printer and Jeremy is elated to have a dutch oven.
Traditionally, we have dinner at Mom and Dad's with the whole family. It was great to spend time with everyone. With the family getting this big, we don't seem to get together as often. We love that time spent together.

Christmas Eve
We spent Christmas Eve night with my parents. Before going to Mom and Dad's, we had Corbin open his Christmas Eve pajamas. I think he was more interested in the paper than the pajamas. We got some take-out and brought it to my parents' house and just hung out until everyone else got there. It gave us time to give Corbin a bath and put him in his PJ's. Once everyone else came, we all sat down in the living room while Dad told us a Christmas story. Once that was done, Mom brought out the Christmas PJ's for everyone to open. It was a lot of fun to see all of the excitement from the kids for jammies.

Huntsman Family Christmas Party
Yesterday we had our Huntsman Family Christmas Party at Brandon's. We ate lots of great food (of course), played Christmas Bingo, opened gifts, and then the adults got to play Christmas Jeopardy that Tara planned. It didn't come to a surprise to anyone at how competitive the game got. It isn't healthy to play competitive games in my family...

8 Months
Corbin is getting so big. It seems like yesterday we were just bringing him home from the hospital. Where has the time gone? He is doing something new everyday. I never want to leave just so I won't miss out on those things. He is such a happy baby all of the time we are very lucky. He started clapping the other night at my nieces' dance concert. He loves to give five, and he is starting to crawl a little bit. He loves the Christmas lights, shiny presents, and my tree. He has been pretty good not to touch though. He still loves doing his head stands and is starting to copy things we do or say like saying shhh and trying to blow or whistle. He also is starting to give kisses ....open mouth, but still kisses. We are trying to work on that.

Thanksgiving in Oregon
The week before Thanksgiving, we went to Oregon to spend time with Jeremy's family. We thought it was a fluke that we only had to stop once on the way up so that we could feed Corbin. We had a great time with all of the family that was there and with those that came up as well. We had Thanksgiving at Kristin and Marlon's and had a great time. We only had to stop once on the way back as well. So much for the fluke...

Corbin's First Trip to Oregon
For the week of Thanksgiving, we took Corbin for his first trip to Oregon to stay at Jeremy's Parent's house. Not only was he able to meet lots of family, but we were able to have a lot of fun while we were there. One day Uncle Dean brought his horses and the wagon over and we went on a wagon ride. Corbin loved to watch Dean's dog Handy running all over the wagon, and started to pet him when we put Corbin on Dean's lap for a picture.
Corbin also was able to take his first four-wheeler ride. He wasn't too sure about it at first, but then began to love it. He stared and stared at all the animals that were at Uncle Dean's house. Dean has rabbits, horses, cows, and even quail and chickens.
We were hoping that he would have another first before we left. Just before going, Corbin learned how to get up on his hands and knees and rock back and forth. I kept telling him that he had to either learn to crawl or cut a tooth... He didn't do either. He did, however learn to do a head-stand kind of, that left some good red marks on his forehead.

Seven Months Old
Corbin is now seven months. He just got his first cold, which is pretty sad to watch. He has been happy though. He has also proven to be the greatest little shopper right now. He will shop for hours as long as he can sit in his stroller and look around. I am hoping that he gets a few teeth soon, because he is such a big drooler.

Family Pictures
We had family Pictures taken a few weeks ago. It turned out to be a really cold day. Corbin was such a trooper though. Do to the cold weather we had to go back the next week and do some more because Corbin's nose and ears were too red. Corbin did not think our photographer was very exciting compared to anything else that was going on around us. All in all, I think they turned out pretty good considering.
If you can't tell we think this boy is pretty cute.

Halloween
For Halloween this year Corbin was a Pirate and Jeremy was WT. We had our ward trunk or treat right across the street from our house, so that was nice. Nick and Tara and Nat and Greg's kids came to our trunk or treat. Then we all went down to my parents' house for dinner and some more trick or treating. Here are some pictures of everyone but Brayden in their costumes. We could not get him to pose for a picture. It was a great night.

6 Months
It's that time again... Corbin went to the doctor for his 6 month check-up. Jeremy and I both made guesses to what he would weigh and how long he would be. Jeremy won. He was right on both.
One of the questions the doctor asked was if he can roll over. At this point he was only able to roll from his stomach to his back. Tonight when we got home, he decided he would prove us wrong by rolling over and over again both ways. Now he can roll where ever he wants to go. If he doesn't want to roll he will just scoot on the back of his head to get around and he is really fast. I really wish he would not scoot on his head because he has a lot of hair everywhere on his head except one spot on the back where he is rubbing it off. All in all, he is a really great baby except he is putting himself on a diet because he thinks he is too big for a bottle. The other day we were having apple slices and we decided to give Corbin some. He gummed and slobbered them until he could no longer hold on to them anymore.

Huntsman Family Pictures
We recently had family pictures taken with my side of the family. We had them at the park across from the temple. We were supposed to have them taken at the amphitheater but there was a wedding luncheon going on, so we just used the tree area above. I think they turned out pretty good. I felt bad because we had a large group and 8 of them kids. Trying to get that many kids to look the same direction and smile at the same time is almost impossible. While we were taking pictures we also just took some random snap shots that turned out pretty cute. So I thought I would post some of them as well.
