Cali Day 7

Day 7 was San Diego Zoo...
All the kids loved the zoo. It seemed as though Corbin and Memphis were inseparable at times.
There was a lot of walking and a lot of posing at the Zoo.
One of the kids' favorite stops was with the gorillas.  There was one that was playing with things in front of the glass and making faces at different kids and banging on the glass.

We took a picture in front of the zoo sign with Corbin a few years ago.  You can't pass that up.
After the zoo, we went to Seaport Village.

This is when Corbin realized that all of the spots on the cement were bird droppings.
We got back to the hotel and took the kids swimming.  Both of our boys absolutely love the water.
Corbin and Ryder had to get in a Chicken Fight...
After all that went on that day, the boys were exhausted.  They got in their beds and crashed.  That is what seven straight days will do to little boys.

We flew home the next day, while the others drove back to Utah.  It was such a great trip!!!  I was amazed at how well the boys behaved.

Cali Day 6:

Day 6 was Sea World...
We got up the morning of Day 6, and drove down to San Diego.  We pulled into Sea World just as it was opening.  The kids loved the shark exhibit.
The boys were playing and it was just too cute to pass up.
The Killer Whale Show is a must.  It was a little cold, so we stayed clear of the splash zone.

We have a picture in this same spot two years earlier with Corbin.
I don't know what it is about penguins, but Corbin loves them.
One of the very best things was watching how the kids played with Hudson.  They had not seen him since August.  He loved the attention.
We had to go to Old Town and have some Mexican food.
Corbin had his own bed next to us and was all about cuddling with Hudson.  Hudson wasn't quite as excited...

Cali Day 5:

Day 5 was the last day at Disney...
The decorations that they put up in Disney are amazing.  The best thing about having three days at Disney is that you can get all of the rides necessary on day one and two and then just the rides you like on day three.
Corbin is such a fan of Cars.  We had to get a picture of him with Mater and Lightning.
It was another long day.  While waiting to watch Muppets 3-D, everyone sat down to rest.
The boys were so good.  This was as we were just hanging out.

Cali Day 4:

Day 4 was Universal Studios...
One of the first things we did was go on the Backlot Tour.  Jeremy and Corbin only made about half of the tour.  They had to get off and find a bathroom and missed some.
This started as a picture with just the kids, and then the characters kept calling the other family members in.  I don't think Patti was too happy with the way Alex the Lion was touching her hair.
Corbin was all about Scooby Doo and the gang from Mystery Inc.
Universal Studios was not nearly as exciting for the kids, but they were so good.

We had a great time and a full day.  We left the park and got to Anaheim just in time to stop at Knott's Berry Farm for dinner, one of Patti's favorites.

Cali Day 3

Day 3 was California Adventure...
The kids loved the Toy Story Ride and the picture opportunity that followed.
Corbin had asked Jeremy to take him on a Ferris Wheel.  We had to go on the big Ferris Wheel.
This was in Ariel's Grotto.
Here's the Ferris Wheel with Grandma and Grandpa.
Corbin was being a brat and didn't want to be in the picture.
Hudson kept the 3-D glasses on just long enough to get this picture at Bug's Life.
We had a break and took some pictures of the boys in some Disney hats.

Corbin was able to go on every ride other than the California Screamer (rollercoaster).
He even went on the Tower of Terror and opted to go again.  Here is the picture of the first time.  He now tells everyone that the Tower of Terror is his favorite ride.

Cali Day 2

Day 2 meant the first day at Disneyland...
we had to get a picture with all of the kids in their Halloween shirts.
Corbin loved Small World...  It gives Jeremy nightmares...
Corbin was so excited when we told him that he was tall enough to go on every ride other than Indiana Jones.
Jeremy took Corbin to Mickey's House to get a picture with him.
Hudson was such a champ...  Although he was teething, he was so happy.
Taking a picture of a picture...  We had to document Splash Mountain.
Needless to say, we just kept on going...  Hudson took a few naps during the day.  Corbin crashed on the walk back to the hotel which was around 11:30 PM.

Califorina Trip 2011

This October, we went to California with my parents and two brothers and their families.  They drove and we flew since it was a bit further for us.  The boys did great on the flights.  When we got to Orange County Airport, we were walking to the baggage and I saw the Hudson News sign.  I had to get a picture with Hudson in front.
Everyone had arrived in Anaheim before us, so when my parents picked us up at the airport, they took us straight to the beach to meet up with the rest of the clan.
The water was freezing, but Hudson wanted to have his feet in it.  He laughed through the whole thing.  Even though he was so cold that his four teeth were chattering.

The cold had no affect on Corbin.  He completely soaked himself in the water.

Hudson laughed until he got his shorts soaked by a rogue wave.  At that point, he wasn't so happy.
This was Hudson's first time at the ocean and Corbin's second.
