First and Only Real Storm

Corbin had been so excited waiting for the first snow.  It didn't come for a very long time, but when it did, it really snowed.  Jeremy had been at work through the night and came home in the middle of the day and played in the snow with Corbin.
As Jeremy was clearing the driveway and walkways, Corbin decided to use his new shovel on the trampoline.
Hudson was so interested in the snow and watched from the back door.
Here is Corbin's attempt at a snow angel.
Corbin was very proud of his snow man.  He had pretzels for eyes and mouth.
The best part about playing out in the snow is the hot chocolate that you have waiting for you to warm you up from the inside out.

Just Hanging Out

I received a cape and mask as a White Elephant gift.  The boys were more than happy to take it off my hands.
Super Corbin at your service...
and, "The Head" is here to help...
It is funny what things you can do to have fun with little boys.  Most of the time, it's the thing you wouldn't think about that they enjoy the most...

New Years Eve 2011

Jeanette came up with the idea to have the kids create and decorate their own New Year's hats.
Here they are showing them off.

This is the group on New Years Eve.
Tara brought a bunch of Minute to Win It games that we competed at.
Hudson wanted to play.
The kids played the first game.  They had to get a cookie from their forehead to their mouth with no hands.
Then came the challenge with cotton balls.
Lastly, they had to knock over cups with a ball on a string tied to their waist.
Corbin had to try on the pedometer used for one of the adult challenges.
After the games, most of the kids played in the office while watching a movie.
They were so excited to celebrate New Years (around 10:30)
Some of the kids had already fallen asleep.
You would think we had some adult beverages based on this picture of Corbin...
He was giddy and in serious need of sleep.
All of the adult challenges came to a tie between Jeremy and me, and Jason and Jennifer.
It was decided that the winner would be decided by a whipped cream tower building contest.  There wasn't much fluff, so it turned into a whipped cream eating contest.
Jeremy just wasn't able to keep up with Jason in the contest.  It did make for some good pictures though.

St George 2011

After Christmas, we all headed to St. George for some peace and quiet...
With that many of us, there is never any quiet...

Brandon helped the kids create a race track with a jump to go down the drive.  They played out there for hours.
This was an occurrence every day...
Strike a Pose...
Hudson got constant attention... And loved it...
One day we went to a Jumpin Jack's.
(this is what happens when you blog about it four months later.  I had to google it to remember the name)
If only Hudson had cousins that loved him and paid attention to him.
Corbin loved his Razer.
Like I said, there is not a lot of quiet time, but it sure is fun.  We miss St. George.

Family Christmas Party

Every year my parents have family over for dinner on Christmas Day.
Things definitely get a little loud, so we send the kids downstairs away from our noise...
Look at this bunch of criminals...
More troublemakers... j/k
We spend most of the time at the table talking to family.
Here is the overflow from the table...
Things are always so serious...
We had to take advantage of the moment.  We had everyone together.
Christmas is always a busy day, but we love it...

Opening Gifts at Grandma's & Grandpa's

Everyone came over so we could open the presents from my parents.

Oh the excitement and anticipation on everyone's faces...
My parents haven't let us down yet.  We were all spoiled.
Corbin had to show off his RC Jeep.
We had such a great time.  The only problem was that we were given more stuff than we could take back home with us.  We had to leave some with my parents to bring later.

Sunday Best

The boys looked so cute in their Christmas clothes.
They never stay still or happy long enough for good pictures.
I had to get one of Jeremy in his new suit that he got from his amazing wife...

It isn't too often we get pictures of our family all dressed up...
