Happy 4th Birthday Corbin

Corbin's birthday was on a Tuesday and Jeremy had to work.  He was so excited that I decided to let him open a present to hold him over until Jeremy got home.

We had his four year check-up in May and here were the stats:
Height 3 feet 8 inches 99%
Weight 41 lbs 80 %
Jeremy met us at Corbin's swimming lessons, and Corbin was able to pick where he wanted to go for his birthday dinner.
He picked Texas Roadhouse.  This is his favorite place to eat.  He loved the attention given to him and the fact that they had him get up on the saddle.
After dinner, we went home and he was able to open some more presents.

He was so happy with all of his gifts.
We sure love Corbin.   I am not sure I am loving his vocabulary when it comes to talking back and being sassy, but I guess that just comes with age.  He is always wanting to make some kind of deal with us.  He is so smart and remembers everything, (which is not always a good thing).  He makes friends really easy and has never met a stranger.   He loves Preschool and his teachers say he is a joy to have.
I asked him some questions and wanted to keep them for future reference.

2.  What is your favorite toy? - Big remote control Jeep from Grandma Patti and Grandpa Larry
3.  What is your favorite fruit? - Apples

Falls

In all of our travels back and forth to Utah, we have never stopped to see the falls at Twin Falls.  I asked Jeremy, and he had never seen them, but saw them on the internet when the water is high.  We decided that we would stop on the way back from Easter.
When we got off the freeway, Corbin could hardly contain himself.  He was so excited to see the falls.

Once again, I will state that we do not beat Hudson.  With a head that big, he was top heavy and had a large area to get bruises.
I timed it and it took 35 minutes out of our trip to stop.   The boys were definitely pleased to get out of the car for a minute.  I usually push for only one stop when we come and go, this one wasn't a bad one.

Corbin's Family Party!

Corbin's birthday was so close to Easter Sunday, that we celebrated his birthday when we got together for Easter.  Jeremy took him to Costco to pick out his cake.  Corbin had to have the dinosaur.
I can't believe that his cake has a 4 on it...
Then came the time for the presents...  He was completely spoiled by my family.
He still loves Cars and was so excited to get these cars.
Some of the kids got race tracks from my parents for Christmas, and Corbin had been asking for one.  You can see his reaction when opening this...
He even got a Hot Wheels jump for the bathtub.
Nerf is always a great gift. When the gun is all together, it is taller than he is.

Easter at Grandpa and Grandma's

Easter is always fun together with family.  We spent Easter in Utah and had a great time.  My parents always set up an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids with prizes.  Sometimes eggs are hidden so well, the adults have to help.
Hudson loved being around the kids, but was not into the hunt...  He had this thing with grass and hates the touch of it.
The kids had a great time playing together.
Each egg has a number and when the number is called, the kids get to pick a treat from my mom's goodie bag.
After the Easter Egg Hunt, Tara helped the kids with parts in an Easter Program.
Nick is not big on little kids, but Hudson loves him.  I was surprised to see him on Nick's lap
They then got in front of all the adults and read their parts.  The older kids helped the little ones that had short lines.
Always the entertainer, Corbin was more than happy to get up in front and say his part.
After the program, the kids worked on some Easter art projects that Jeanette set up.
As usual, the boys got plenty of attention from their cousins.
I fear anytime we have to leave family gatherings that the boys are going to rebel from not getting enough attention.

Easter Morning

Since Corbin sleeps upstairs at my parents' house, he saw some eggs left from the Easter Bunny.  My mom told him to get us so he could start his hunt.
Hudson woke up midway through the hunt.  He was more that willing to participate in the search.
The eggs took the boys to the baskets waiting for them in the tub.
The boys were so excited for the gifts and the baskets.  I love that they (Corbin) find so much joy and excitement in holidays like this!!!
My mom completely spoils us and makes breakfast for the boys every morning.  Corbin actually wakes up and wakes her up instead of us.  Which we really love.
Here are the boys in their Easter vests...
It was such a nice day.  I also got an Easter outfit.
We couldn't just leave Jeremy out...
It was so nice of my parents to welcome us to visit for Easter!!!

Utah

We went to Utah for Easter and we were able to celebrate Corbin's birthday, which will be in a later post.
Corbin had a great time and played until he crashed...  This kid never falls asleep watching a movie, so this was a Kodak moment.
Jeremy watched the boys and Sage while Kylee and I did some shopping.  The kids got along great.
Hudson is always up for the attention...  I don't spend nearly enough time with Kylee.  Kylee is not going to love that I put his picture on here because she is 7 months pregnant, but you can't even tell.
This was my attempt at trying to get a picture of the three of them.
More attention from Alex...

The boys love to cuddle with Grandpa.
These pictures are after Hudson hit his head in the same spot three times.  He also took a tumble down my parents' stairs.  No we do not beat our child.

Coloring Easter Eggs

The highlight of Easter:  Coloring eggs...
We colored eggs before our trip to Utah for Easter.

Hudson kept himself busy stuffing shoes into the pumpkin from his bin.  He is obsessed with shoes right now.
Corbin was so proud of his eggs...
I was surprised at how patient Corbin was for them to turn the full color.
Hudson is such a poser...
The coloring included crayons to color on top of the colored egg.  This one said Happy Easter.   We made each egg look different.  Cobin did a really good job on his eggs and also made sure not to crack them.
And the final results...
Not only does Corbin like to color eggs, but he likes to eat the hard boiled eggs. There were some colorful meals after this week.
