Happy Birthday Hudson

Hudson had his first birthday in December.  We had one party in Oregon with the family there before we went to Utah for Christmas and had another party.
Because Hudson's birthday is so close to Christmas, the Huntsman side had his birthday and our Christmas party together.
I think Hudson was just as excited with the box and wrapping paper...

He looked so cute in his Birthday outfit.
He is in 12-18 Mo Clothes and size 5 shoe
Still a great Sleeper
Still eats anything
Takes two naps a day
Favorite word is (this)
Has 8 Teeth

He is usually such a happy baby(unless he is getting teeth).
When we got back after New Years, Hudson had his checkup:

Weight: 24 lbs 7.5 oz (71%)
Height: 31.3 Inches (87%)
Head: 50.8 cm (99%) - He is definitely a Pratt!!!

I can't believe he started out like this and now looks like that.
(this is Hudson at about 7 days old )
This Year went by so fast for me.  I feel like I just barely had him.  I have to say this is the best Christmas gift you could ever get.  We sure do love him.

Gingerbread House

We had promised Corbin that we would build a gingerbread house for Christmas and forgot until we were at my parents' house in Utah. Corbin said that it couldn't be Christmas unless we had built a gingerbread house and snow on the ground...
Notice the look of concentration on the boys' faces...

Corbin was so proud of his results.
We were able to do the gingerbread house, but couldn't promise the snow...

Pratt Family Christmas/Birthday Party

We got together with the family close to us to celebrate Christmas and three birthdays.  Erin and
Chad had us over.  We celebrated birthdays for Hudson, Jake, and Striker.  We had an awesome dinner and then had some Minute to Win it games Erin put together...

Hudson is lucky to have such great cousins...

Last year we weren't able to participate in the Christmas Party.  Hudson was being born.  Grandma Pratt and Uncle Robert were such good sports and tried the games.  This game is where you try to get a cookie from your forehead to your mouth without using your hands.
I won the golf ball stacking contest.  After we had moved on to other games, Jeremy's dad got three.  Too little too late...
Corbin gave the Life Saver Stacking contest a try.
I didn't think that there was quite the competitive nature in Jeremy's family, but learned otherwise.  Burdette won the Life Saver Stacking contest...
Burdette wasn't quite as lucky/good at the noodle game.  Jeremy took Burdette and Robert.
After the games, we had some presents and then a White Elephant Gift Exchange.
McKenna and Hudson had the same reaction to Hannah getting goldfish...
Erin let us put Hudson in a carseat to try to give him some birthday cake.  He got the littlest bit on his hands and had had enough.
This  is what I love about the Holidays and family.  We were so lucky to be able to get together with those close to us before going to Utah for Christmas.

Christmas Tree

I had to get a picture of the boys the last Sunday before we left for Utah.
Jeremy says that our house looked like Christmas threw up all over our house.
Notice our Elf on a Shelf above the tree?  That was a life saver this year.

Corbin Christmas Program

These are some pictures of Corbin's Christmas Program from preschool.  The pictures are horrible because I had a camera with a dying battery and the church didn't have the best lighting.
He was so excited for his program. He had been singing the songs during the weeks leading up to it.  He knew all of his group's songs and some of the songs from the other groups.
We were a little worried that he wasn't going to be able to make it as he had the flu earlier in the week.
As soon as the groups were done with their program, Santa came to visit, so Corbin got another chance to chat.
He was so excited to be able to perform.
We were so proud of him for doing so well.  After the program, Jeremy took us all out for some TCBY.

Visiting Santa

Corbin was dying to go visit Santa, so we went to visit Santa at the mall the first of December.
Corbin hopped up on Santa's lap and proceeded to tell him that he wanted a race car.
We were worried about Hudson, but he did really well with Santa.  He got up there and wanted to pull on the beard.
I just love Christmas.  It makes it even better with the boys as they are getting older.

Bowling

The day after Thanksgiving we went to Ontario and spent some more time with family.  We decided to take the kids bowling and had a great time.
Corbin loved the bowling ramp. With that, he was able to bowl all by himself.
These two are so similar in so many ways.  I think they even have the same nose...
Hudson and Grandma enjoyed the cuddling time.
Notice the concentration.  Jeremy says that he may be a plumber in the making...

The only thing that didn't go well was when he was told that it was time to go home...
