Fair

While Alex was here visiting with us, we went to the fair.  Corbin absolutely loves the carnival rides, so we let him ride a few.
He is definitely my child.  Jeremy is not big on any kind of ride.

Corbin had to ride the Dragon Roller coaster.  We tried to get pictures of him, but were too slow to get a good one.  We picked the right time to leave as a huge wind storm came blowing through just as we got home.

Utah

I am still trying to catch up with blogging the summer, so please bear with me...

Corbin and I were able to fly to Utah to visit family for a while in August while Jeremy had to work.  We were able to hang out with cousins, do a lot of shopping, and hang out with friends.  I was also able to go to the Lion King with family and Kylee.  This was pretty much the only picture I took, and that was because Brooklyn asked me to take it.  I was bad and forgot to take pictures.  Corbin loved every second with Ryder.  These two play so great together.

It's a Boy!!!

its a boy feet

We are excited for Corbin to be a big brother in January.  We found out that we are having a boy.  Corbin always talks about his baby brother in Mom's belly and sharing his toys.

Big Boy Bed

Moving and trying to transition a boy from a crib to a bed is a bit of a daunting task.  We were trying to decide how to do all of that at once.  I decided to go for it and we bought Corbin a new "big boy bed" when we moved into our new house.  I was worried that the transition would not be smooth, but it was amazingly easy.  The first few times, he didn't even get out of bed in the morning.  He would stay in his bed and call for us from there.  We would come into his room and tell him that he could get out, a he would climb down.  Now he gets up in the morning and comes into our bedroom to see if we are awake.

The move to the new house was surprisingly smooth.  I would credit that to the fact that my parents came up from Utah and helped for a good week.  Jeremy was amazed at the progress.  He would go to work and when he came back in the evening, the house was more and more put together.  My dad even went as far as refinishing two bedroom sets of furniture for us.  They were a great help.

Children's Museum

While Mandy and her family were visiting this summer, we went to the Children's Museum.  It was fun because we had never been there before.  Corbin Loved it, but somehow we didn't get any pictures of the whole group together.

Corbin wasn't exactly thrilled to be on the bed of nails.  I had to snap this picture before he hopped off.

We had a lot of fun with Mandy and her boys.  Too bad Steve was in Spokane for most of it

July 4th

We had a good Fourth of July.  We had a BBQ at Jeremy's parents the day before the Fourth and had our own fireworks show thanks to Grandpa Burdette.

We had quite the group as you can see below.  Mandy and her boys came up for a week, so Corbin had extra cousins to play with during that time.

Corbin has a new love of sparklers.  He had always been afraid of them, but loved them once he got his hands on them.  We tried to get some more after the Fourth, but they don't sell fireworks here after the Fourth.
It was a great Fourth here.  Quite a bit different than what we were used to before, but still good.

Two peas in a pod

Jeremy's sister and brother-in-law were gracious enough to allow us to live with them for a while until we found a house closer to Jeremy's new job.  Their youngest is a few years older than Corbin and they had an absolute ball together.  They thought it would be a great idea to jump in the pool fully clothed...

Oh... there were days when they seemed to be at each others' throats, but most of the time they got along great and asked for the other when they were separated.
Now that we are in our house about 45 minutes away, Corbin misses his cousin Ashton a lot.  Thanks for everything Kris and Marlon!!!
