Corbin decided that he wanted to learn to ride his bike without training wheels. He had talked about it for a while, and I told him that one day when Jeremy could help, we would work on it. Memorial Day weekend was the perfect time to practice.
Jeremy first raised up the training wheels so that Corbin could learn to balance a little and get the feel of it. After about 15 minutes of that, they took the plunge. Jeremy took the plunge and took off the training wheels. It took about another 10 minutes and only two falls (no tears or blood) and Corbin was riding.
He still needed help to start and stop, but he was doing it.
Corbin was so proud of himself, that he wanted to go around the block and show anyone that would look to see. The only problem is that Jeremy had to run behind him to help him if he decided to stop or start.
Hudson was great and wanted to follow around carrying the training wheels.
Then the cord to the toy Jeep...
I think they did about three laps that day.
